SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - There were some frazzled nerves Thursday in the Sheboygan Area School District as a bomb threat forced the evacuation of the Central Office and adjoining buildings.

Sheboygan Police were contacted by personnel with the District after a series of threatening calls were made to the Central Office shortly after 2 P.M. The building was evacuated and following a search of the property, it was determined that no bomb was present.

A short time later, officers with the Street Crimes Unit took a 16-year-old boy, believed to be responsible for the calls, into custody in the 1500 block of Indiana Avenue.

It was unclear if the teen is a student at one of the schools adjacent to the Central Office.
