Prisoner Mistakenly Released

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a Sheboygan man who was mistakenly released from custody.

On Tuesday night, 35-year-old Marqus Hatch, who is charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, was released by a Corrections employee after being granted a signature bond. Hatch should have been held on a probation hold. After the mistake was discovered, a warrant for Hatch’s arrest was issued. Sheriff Mike Helmke called the incident unfortunate and not common practice in Sheboygan County.

Hatch is African-American, 5’6, 157 pounds and his last known address was 1607A North 7th Street. If you should see him, contact the Sheriff’s Department at 920-459-3112.
