4:38 PM -- This is painful to watch, but the trend of victims doing this is thought provoking, to say the least:

4:07 PM -- Okay, if you're a Warner Bros. cartoon freak like I am, this needs no explanation. If you're NOT a Warner Bros. cartoon freak, never mind:

3:28 PM -- Dr. Kagen and Mr. Hyde??? On November 6 2007, Congressman Steve Kagen issued a news release announcing his co-sponsorship of the Secure America With Verification and Enforcement (SAVE) Act of 2007.

This act would, among other things:

Address border security by increasing manpower and technology, provide resources to enforce existing immigration laws and provide employers with ways to verify employee eligibility.

The news release quoted Kagen as saying: "Everywhere I go, people are telling me the same thing. From Waupaca to Sturgeon Bay, from Appleton to Green Bay and from Marinette to Minocqua, people are saying, 'I want my country back!"

So will Kagen help save SAVE now? House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the House Democratic leadership are trying to kill the bill. A discharge petition has been launched in Congress, which if signed by 218 Members of Congress(a simple majority), would bring the bill directly to the House floor for a vote. So far, 188 have signed the discharge petition, 30 short of the 218 needed.

Kagen is among those who won't sign the discharge petition. Why would Kagen, with much fanfare (he called my show from the U.S./Mexican border to pat himself on the back for co-sponoring SAVE) support this bill and not sign a discharge petition to bring it to the floor for a vote.

Apparently Kagen wanted to use a conservative talk show to con his constituents into believing he is tough on immigration by saying he supports the SAVE Act, but when it comes to actually doing something about it, he bends over to Democratic leadership. Kagen used my show to pull a fraud on my listeners. I'm trying to get him back on to answer to this. I'm told by his office they'll get back to me. I'm not letting this one go.
